Raffle Ticket and Home and School News

February 9,

Dear Parents,

I received the most amazing donation today.  A check in the amount of $300.00! Attached to the check was a letter which I would like to share with you.

“It would be such a great loss to everyone if the school is forced to close.  I attended CMI from 2nd to 12th grade.  What a wonderful education I had!  And in addition to the “3 R’s”  I learned so much more.  The most important thing was Faith and flowing from that,  came morals, manners, respect, empathy, and perseverance.

What I learned at CMI has guided my life and therefore I have a wonderful life. As everyone does I’ve had ups and downs but I always had that strong foundation to fall back on.  I don’t want future generations to lose their opportunity to have that.”

I think that letter sums up why we all work so hard for our children.  What we do does make a difference.

We’ve sent home TWO Raffle Tickets for the Car Raffle.  We need each family to sell or buy two raffle tickets.  Please do not turn the tickets back in.  If you can not sell them personally, we have sent home a copy of the mass schedule from now until the winning ticket is drawn.

Home and School Connection

Dear Parents,

On behalf of the faculty and staff at Mary Immaculate, I would like to thank you all for attending the important meeting last week.  The response to your desire to have “Catholic education” has been overwhelming.  I can’t begin to convey the gratitude to each of you for the incredible outpouring of ideas, financial contributions, and donations of time and talent! As we move forward to meet the challenges, may we keep in mind that it is the love of the children and our desire to provide the best for the them, in a Christian environment,  that is our driving force.

 Gracefully,

Beth Harris
