The third grade celebrated the completion of their spooky stories this past Monday, November 9th! We hoped you enjoyed reading our truly terrifying tales of ghosts, ghouls, and monsters! We had been learning why spooky stories made us scared. The published stories included spooky vocabulary, horrifying characters, a spine-tingling setting, and a frightening plot. The party was a HUGE success thanks to all of our visitors, and the amazing effort and hard work the third grade put into their writing. Excellent job 3rd Grade!!!
4 & 5th Grade Student Council sponsored “Twin Day” at Mary Immaculate! We were seeing double today around the school, and in some cases…TRIPLE! Thanks to all of the students that were involved.

What an adventure the 3rd-5th Grade had today! Infinite thanks go first and foremost to Mr. Jay Gogin of the Ceramics Department at FKCC for inviting us and to Dr Boil for letting us come as well!
For our art lesson this week we were able to get a look at what goes into making pottery, including the Japanese style firing technique Raku. On top of that, the kids were able to experience for themselves with a pinch pot of their own. We were also able to tour the campus and discuss the murals that Jay Gogin and others created! They learned terms of the trade and were further enriched with philosophies of art that I too, hold dear.
Hands, head and your heart should go into everything you do! Way to go guys!
