The Educational Coalition for Monroe County sponsored “Dancing Classrooms” for our students in 5th Grade and 7th& 8th Grade. Through the efforts of Tina Belotti, ECMA President and Lucy Carleton, Dance Instructor, students learned the Merengue, the Foxtrot, the Rumba, the Tango, the Swing, the Waltz and the Polka.
The student dancers will present the dances they learned in the gym on Friday, May 24th at 1:30 pm. We encourage all of you to come out and watch them.
Thank you Mr. Drum and Ms. Huss for acting as teacher coordinators.

May 17th – Grades 3 – 5 Student Council will hold their End of the Year Party.
There will be a movie and pizza.
Bring a bag of chocolate for the ticket to get in.

A very heartfelt thank you to all the parents who have worked so hard to provide a hot lunch program for our students. Your commitment to running the cafeteria all year long has been fantastic! THANK YOU SO MUCH! A special thank you to Ms. De Jong for coordinating the efforts and thank you to the daily captains and volunteers. We all appreciate you!
Pizza will continue to be ordered for Friday, May 17th, May 24th, and May 31st.
THURSDAY – MAY 16TH IS THE LAST DAY FOR HOT LUNCH.
PLEASE Pack your child a lunch everyday. If you deliver lunch, there will be a table at the front entrance. Place your child’s lunch in the proper grade area and make sure their name is on it. We can not call children down for lunches or deliver lunches. Let you child know if you are dropping off a lunch to pick it up at the front table.
