CAR RAFFLE TICKETS

Just a reminder! We need every family to sell or buy their two car raffle tickets.  There are over 200 tickets that still need to be sold.  If you need more tickets, please stop by the office. The drawing is June 10, 2012 at the 9:00 a.m. Mass.

TUITION

Tuition for May will be past due on May 10^th.  This is the last month to pay tuition for the 2011-2012 school year.  Don’t forget that if you have registered for the 2012-2013 school year, one Curriculum Fee per family needs to be paid by June 1^st to ensure a spot in next year’s program.

1:00 DISMISSAL

Wednesday, May 9^th, 2012 is a 1:00 Dismissal.  After Care Available

Mariner March 5 K

Thank you Bascom Grooms and your amazing crew.  Thank you parents for helping and bringing in water and Gatorade.  This fabulous event raised over $17,000.00 that goes towards operating the school!

First Communion

May Crowning will take place following this week’s Friday Mass. Please join us.

Volunteer Brunch

The teachers are baking delicious quiches and bringing in fruit platters.  Mrs. Harris has ordered a special cake from “Amazing Cakes and Creations.” Your time spent volunteering at Mary Immaculate is invaluable.  Preparing lunches, running the snack room, coaching, Choir and Altar Serving help, organizing and running fundraising events, baking for bake sales and the list goes on and on.

Please join us for punch, a snack and a sweet treat at the Renewal Center next Friday, May 18^th at 9:30 a.m.  Come and sit down or just stop by for a treat!  We all thank you for doing so much. – you are our SHINING STARS!

Last year we held our 1^st Science Night and Open House.  Each class or student built a science project and brought it in and put them on display.  What a fun and exciting night.

We hope you will all attend and bring some friends with you that might be interested in finding out more about Mary Immaculate.

Dear Parents,

May is the last month to pay tuition for the 2011-2012 school year.  Please make sure you are current on your tuition payments.  We depend on the tuition coming in on time in order to pay our teachers.

Mariners March 5 K – 2012

The 2nd Annual Mariners March was a huge success as we had 428 registered/ runners/walkers up from 352 last year. That’s a 22% increase in participants from last year!
Thank you to everyone who was involved in this fun and beneficial event.

MARINERS MARCH

Saturday – April 28^th, 2012

Be sure to come out and run/walk/help at the Mariners March.  We need all families to donate one case of water or Gatorade. Please drop off in front of the office. 

Thanks Bascom Grooms and his dedicated committee that have worked tirelessly on this event.

This event raises over $20,000.00 that helps educate your child. Please come out and support it!

PROGRESS REPORTS

Third Quarter Progress Reports Go Home – May 1.

BOOK SWAP-Friday – April 27^th – During the School Day- 9:30 to 1:30

Clean out your bookshelves and send in your children’s unwanted books. Drop them off in Ms. Gould’s room for the Book Swap! We need young adult level books.  Please send them in by this Friday!

OPEN HOUSE AND SCIENCE NIGHT

Monday – May 14^th – 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. – Mark your calendars and encourage anyone you know that is interesting in attending Mary Immaculate to visit.
