Haiti Efforts

Dear Parents and Families,

We are all aware of the recent earthquake that devasted Haiti.  Our own, Father Jean, returned on Wednesday from visiting his elderly parents.  The Archdiocese has asked our help in “helping” our brothers and sisters in Haiti.  Many of you are aware of our sister school in Dity, Haiti.  We do not know of any news at present but will keep you updated as information is available.

The Art Club is selling sodas today after school and donating the money to Haiti.  The bake sale on Friday being sponsored by the 6th grade is also a Haiti effort.  Other classes are brain-storming ideas.

We are asking families to donate money to be sent to a special fund at the Archdiocese of Miami.

Archbishop Favalora has established a separate account to be established at the Finance Office for the contributions from schools.  We must keep the nation and its people in our prayers as they go forward in dealing with this crisis.

In Faith,

Beth Harris

Principal

Prays for Mercy Hiller and Family

Please keep Mercy Hiller and her family in your prayers. Mercy Hiller, our PTSA President, and mother of Caleb Hiller, was involved in a serious car accident Saturday morning. She is currently in Miami awaiting  care. Ms. Hiller and her family will need all of our prayers and help in the months to come.
Thank You.
In Grace,
Beth Harris
